FileMaker Jeopardy

FileMaker version of "Jeopardy" including a companion file for creating Q&A for unlimited games.

Begin by creating the answers and questions for Jeopardy: each game is a single records with 61 fields: 30 fields in each of the first 2 rounds and one more for "Final Jeopardy". Create as many games as you desire. Each game as 13 categories; 6 in each of the first 2 rounds and one more for Final Jeopardy.

One your games are complete, you can open the Jeopardy game board and choose the game you want to play. The game board also includes a partially hidden button to expose the Host Tools.

FileMaker Jeopardy includes audio sound effects for correct and incorrect responses and "think music" while contestants are guessing the right question in the final round.

As many as 3 contestants can participate, using their iPhones as "buzzers" to signal a desire to guess the question corresponding to any chosen "answer".

The Q&A preparation includes colored layout objects that correspond to the squares on the board, insuring that the text you enter is properly displayed. Print out the Answers and Questions for someone who volunteers to act as the "judge."

Using an iPad, another participant can view the game board and act as a moderator, while a host will use FileMaker Pro to operate the game board, award points for correct responses and replace one game record with its set of Q&A with another game stored in the accessory Q&A file.

This version of FileMaker is suggested for use in training employees, students, or organization members who require knowledge of any subject or discipline to acquire greater subject-matter expertise in their careers.
